The initial 30-minute complimentary exam allows Dr. Cardot to determine the orthodontic problem, the best treatment option, how much it will cost, and when treatment should be initiated. We offer 3 options for your complimentary consultation. You can choose either a 30-minute in-office evaluation or a 30-minute video conference evaluation. We also offer a photo evaluation through text or email. Following an in-office evaluation, if treatment is necessary, we can take x-rays, photos, and an intraoral scan (replaces putty impressions!) at the same visit to save you time.
All questions are answered at the first visit, such as:
- What are the orthodontic problems?
- What treatment is necessary?
- Is treatment needed now or should treatment be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors have occurred?
- How long will treatment take?
- How much will it cost?
- What are my payment options?
You do not need a referral from your dentist to see an orthodontist. When calling to schedule, please provide Emily with your dental insurance information so that she can inform you of your orthodontic benefit and your out-of-pocket costs. It is also helpful to fill out our secure patient information forms so that Emily has them ready for your appointment.
